A Dynamic Career Development Model Incorporating Multidimensional Human Capital and Psychometric Preferences

EDN: GJHDDH

Abstract

This article examines the development of theoretical foundations for intertemporal modeling of career choice based on the integration of human capital development and an individual's psychological profile. The authors propose a model for formalizing career choice by solving the problem of optimal career management under uncertainty. The results demonstrate that the inclusion of psychometric congruence and a multidimensional skill structure enables a quantitative assessment of the stability of career trajectories. This study advances the methodology of dynamic models of career choice. These models are capable of taking into account the multidimensional structure of skills and psychological congruence, thereby complementing existing approaches in career guidance modeling.
