Abstract
The analysis of theoretical frameworks that investigate the influence of civilizational aspects on sociocultural transformations in society has allowed to underscore the significance of the value dimension in politics and the interdisciplinary approaches essential for comprehending Russia's civilizational development. This article delves into the role of sociocultural changes in the development of libraries. The relevance of the research stems from the increasing impact of digitization on the transformation of communication processes and the scientific-educational sphere. The study presents the results of statistical information analysis and strategic planning documents, offering insights into the political practices adopted by the state. These practices are aimed at preserving Russian culture, upholding traditional values, and strengthening national unity in response to the challenges and threats to the national security of the Russian Federation.
