Background: born in 1955, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Head of the Laboratory "Sustainable Development of Socio-Economic Systems" of the SIU-RANEPA, Professor of the Department of Statistics of the Novosibirsk State University of Economics and Management, Head of the leading scientific school "Theory and Methodology of Sustainable Development Socio-Economic Systems". The main scientific interests are data typology, assessment of the level of sustainable development, periodization of time series, research of unstable aggregates, portfolio analysis, business statistics. 2 doctoral and 5 candidate dissertations were made and defended under the guidance of Vladimir V. Glinskiy, the author of more than 200 published scientific works, including 7 monographs, more than 20 textbooks and teaching aids.
