Abstract

Data characterizing the volume of the digital twin market are provided. Gartner materials illustrate the high significance and promising development of digital twin technologies. The dynamics of publication activity of Russian and foreign authors on the development and implementation of digital twins is traced, and the thematic distribution of publications presented in the RSCI and ScienceDirect database is shown. Indicators of publication activity of universities and organizations of the Russian Academy of Sciences are presented. It is argued that the variety of tasks solved in the field of urban management creates the prerequisites for the use of digital twins in various application areas, which contributes to positive changes in the development of territories. The scientific potential for the development of urban management as an integral area of using digital twins was illustrated using a representative set of examples of domestic and foreign publications.

Abstract

The proposed study examines the concept of intermittency in the economic sphere and its impact on the processes of interaction between various sectors of the economy. The study of the phenomenon of intermittency represents an important contribution to understanding the dynamics of the economic system and its possible changes in the context of a rapidly changing and unstable global economic climate. The authors emphasize that understanding intermittency is necessary to develop effective resource management strategies, as well as to improve economic forecasting and planning and prevent potential crisis situations. The results of the work are based on the analysis of statistical data of the Russian Federation in the pre-crisis, crisis and post-crisis periods. One of the key problems with intermittency is its role in the transition to chaos. The purpose of the study is to determine the possibility of transition to crises in the economy through intermittency. Particular attention is paid to type III intermittency. In particular, the authors consider the possibility of modeling the entry into a crisis using the subcritical subharmonic Neumark — Saker bifurcation, as well as the supercritical Andronov — Hopf bifurcation. Numerical series of labor resources and investment volumes in the economy of the Russian Federation from 2000 to 2022 were used and analyzed in order to identify time periods during which alternating laminar and turbulent phases of economic development occur. Based on these data, using the least squares method, the parameters that determine the structure of bifurcations were found. Calculations of Floquet multipliers were made, which made it possible to evaluate the behavior of economic resources. The reasons that led to the occurrence of intermittency in certain periods are considered. The results of the study indicated the impossibility of sustainable economic development. The article also presents the most common negative consequences and a number of violations in the economy due to the appearance of intermittency, leading to the subcritical subharmonic Neumark — Saker bifurcation. Based on the results obtained, some approaches are proposed that can help in managing intermittency. The research carried out may be useful for the development of more accurate forecasting and planning models in the economic sphere.

Abstract

Modern digital transformation is a tool for strategic management and it is designed to rebuild an enterprise, starting from its product line and to the corresponding modernization of the entire production and supply chain in order to maintain and increase its competitiveness in a constantly changing business environment. At the same time, despite individual attempts to build a holistic digital transformation management loop, end-to-end automation of production planning processes and its implementation taking into account the impact of variability in the business environment, monitoring and response to such changes have not been implemented. This study proposes the basic principles of automation of production processes for planning and implementing digital transformation, managed taking into account the methodology for managing the digital transformation of commercial enterprises in a constantly changing business environment, and, also identifies the main tasks solved by such automation for its users. The scientific novelty of the research lies in determining the principles of automation of management and implementation of digital transformation. The practical value lies in the ability to quickly record and evaluate changes in the external business environment, predict the consequences of such changes, compare different trajectories for the implementation of digital transformation (taking into account forecasts), and choose the best option in order to increase its efficiency.

Abstract

The article examines gentrification as a social phenomenon and a social process using examples of Russian and Western cities. Scientific and practical interest in this process is due to its insufficient conceptual understanding. The authors give characteristics of gentrification in relation to Russian realities, and also highlight its models, channels, forms, stages and traps using specific examples. The article shows that gentrification in Russia to a greater extent changes the business and cultural environment of cities, and to a lesser extent — the social affiliation of people; and in almost all of its models leads to the formation of conflicts, some of which have an ethnic component.

Abstract

The analysis of theoretical frameworks that investigate the influence of civilizational aspects on sociocultural transformations in society has allowed to underscore the significance of the value dimension in politics and the interdisciplinary approaches essential for comprehending Russia's civilizational development. This article delves into the role of sociocultural changes in the development of libraries. The relevance of the research stems from the increasing impact of digitization on the transformation of communication processes and the scientific-educational sphere. The study presents the results of statistical information analysis and strategic planning documents, offering insights into the political practices adopted by the state. These practices are aimed at preserving Russian culture, upholding traditional values, and strengthening national unity in response to the challenges and threats to the national security of the Russian Federation.

Abstract

The level of the territory economic development characterizes the success of its functioning in modern conditions. The potential for further economic growth is determined by the state of the region investment sphere, the scale of development of which gives an idea of the available opportunities for further increasing the well-being of the Republic. The classification of the Mari El Republic municipalities allows you to determine investment and progressive territories and outline the directions for the further application of production capacities in order to build up the real sector of the economy. The purpose of the study is to classify municipal districts and urban districts of the Mari El Republic to form homogeneous classes for investment activities. Achieving the purpose involves solving the problems of selecting defining investment and production indicators, obtaining sustainable practice-oriented clusters and their economic interpretation. Statistical method of cluster analysis is used as multivariate classification algorithm. The construction of a dendrogram based on an agglomerative hierarchical approach allows us to visually combine the studied objects into groups similar in values of the studied indicators. The subsequent application of the divisional algorithm of the k-means method with the division of the original set of objects into a given number of clusters equal to the number of selected groups on the dendrogram allows you to compare the filling of classes and assess the accuracy and correctness of the selected classification groups. As a result of the classification of the Mari El Republic municipal districts and urban districts, they were divided into 4 groups, characterizing their investment potential and opportunities for further increase in economic growth.

Abstract

Based on the results of an empirical study of the influence of Latin American migrants on the regional development of the border problem area located along the US-Mexico border, the economic, social and political aspects of this influence are highlighted. Based on the results of the study, the author comes to the conclusion that immigrants of this ethnocultural group have a generally negative impact on the economy and regional society of the Southwestern border region of the United States, which has formed the specific socio-economic genotype of this territory. This conclusion is based on the weak adaptation of Spanish-speaking migrants to the realities of the American way of life, manifested in the rapid growth of poverty, unemployment and marginal behavior of Latin American migrants and their descendants, compared with other ethnocultural groups in the area. The problematic nature of the border region under study, according to the author of the article, cannot be resolved in a strategic perspective, even through increasing allocations for the social needs of migrants within the framework of state regional policy. The transition from the state of depressive borderland to modernization transborderness is typical only for the outlying districts of the region, which belong to the highly urbanized territories of the most economically developed states of the country California and Texas. In the inner districts of the region, a further aggravation of the problem of political and social rejection of the living conditions of the ever-increasing number of Latin American migrants who make up the dominant part of the population is seen.
